Bird reserve
Between mountain and sea, on the way to migratory birds.
Located between the Cap 3000 shopping center and the airport of Nice Côte d’Azur at the mouth of the Var, this bird reserve is a perfect place for migratory birds considered as the “Mini Camargue of Saint-Laurent-du-Var”.
Here, you will see little ringed plovers, sandpipers, common snipes, grey herons, little egrets, greater flamigos… 264 bird species have been observed which is almost half of those present in Europe.
Wood panels installed on the 'Green Walk' help you along the way to know the name of these birds and their main characteristics.
A natural aquarium
By the sea on the beach of Flots Bleus on limite with the Esplanade Les Goélands, a marine protected area has a total ban on fishing (order of the Mayor December 22, 2008). Indeed, a marine world where man and animals live in harmony has been recreated in an artificial cove in front of the promenade of Flots Bleus. The animals are almost tame.

Equipped with sports facilities at various sites, the Pugets forest is a haven of peace and greenery, accessible on foot or by bus from the seaside and the town centre. There are various routes to follow at the entrance, and some of the paths have information panels explaining the flora and fauna present.
Urban walks
The Esplanade des Goélands and The Promenade des Flots Bleus connects the Cap 3000 shopping center at the harbour along the sea. The city has focused on the well-being by offering its visitors and residents long pedestrian walks and totally protected on the seafront.

Classificata come 3 boe, questa spiaggia accoglie persone con disabilità motoria, mentale e uditiva, per il nuoto nei fine settimana durante la stagione estiva, tutti i giorni dalle 10 alle 18.
Agenti stagionali sono presenti ogni giorno per assicurare l'accoglienza e l'aiuto alla messa a mare. Il materiale per la messa a mare è di tipo "Tiralo" e "Ippocampo".
L'accesso è facilitato da parcheggi blu, rampa di accesso, doccia e servizi igienici.
Una stazione di soccorso si trova a 50 metri dalla handiplage.
Infine, uno spazio sulla spiaggia è predisposto per il relax e per proteggersi dal sole (soggetto a materiale disponibile).
Prenotazione al numero 00 33 6 78 37 15 30 dal lunedì al venerdì per centri/gruppi o in accesso libero per privati.
Beach suitable for disabled persons
Classified 3 buoys, this beach welcomes people with motor, mental and hearing disabilities, for swimming during the summer season every day from 10am to 6pm.
Seasonal agents are present every day to ensure reception and assistance in launching. The launching material is of type "Tiralo" and "Hippocampe".
Access is facilitated by blue parking spaces, an access ramp, a shower and sanitary facilities.
A rescue station is 50 metres from the disabled beach.
Finally, a space on the beach is arranged for relaxation and protection from the sun (subject to available equipment).
Reservation at 00 33 6 78 37 15 30 from Monday to Friday for centres/groups (available from 1 July) or free access without appointment for individuals.

La stagione culturale della Laurenziana inizia a settembre e termina a giugno.
Il programma annuale comprende spettacoli di musica, teatro, narrazione e danza.
GLI SPETTACOLI SI SVOLGONO :Al Teatro Georges Brassens, situato nel Parc Layet, accanto al Municipio. È attrezzata per le esibizioni dal vivo. Gli spettacoli programmati sono, per la maggior parte, scelti dal Festival di Avignone dell'anno in corso (119 posti).
Presso l'Auditorium France Clidat del Conservatoire de Musique et d'Art Dramatique (80 posti).
EVENTI CULTURALI :
5 festival riempiono l'agenda durante l'anno: Festival du Polar, Festival du livre et de la parole, Le Regard Photographique, Mai des Arts e il Festival del Teatro.
